Wine estate photographer in the Hérault
Wine and wine tourism
An estate needs images for many channels at once: website and online shop, product pages, trade shows, press kits, social media, the tasting room. And these images need to tell the same story everywhere.
Photographer for wine estates, based in Gignac, in the Hérault valley, I photograph the vines and the landscape, the work in the vineyard and the cellar, the bottles and the people who make the estate.
I work at the pace of the vines : the harvest and winter pruning don't show the same estate, and it is often more useful tospread the shoots over the year than to do everything in a single day.
Services
What I photograph for an estate
01Vines, landscapes and drone
The plots, the terroir and the setting of the estate, in morning or evening light, and by drone when the site allows it.
02The vineyard and the cellar
Work in the vineyard, the harvest, the vats and the barrels: the gestures that make the wine.
03Winemaker portraits
The winemaker, the family, the team: the faces of the estate for your website, the press and your trade shows.
04Bottles and labels
Your wines in context, at the foot of a vine or in the cellar, or as a creative packshot for the online shop.
Images for every channel
Uses
A well-planned series works everywhere: your website's home page, the online shop and product pages, press and trade show kits, social media, the tasting room and wine tourism offers.
Before the shoot, we list these uses together. I then plan the right framing: horizontal formats for the website and banners, vertical for social media, wide shots and details to tell the story of the estate.
Wine industry trade shows and events at the estate
Trade shows and events
I also photograph wine industry booths at trade shows, such as Saverglass at SITEVI in Montpellier, or that of PMH Vinicole and its winemaking equipment.
And when your estate hosts seminars, receptions or client days, I cover the event for you as well as for the organiser.
Case study
Coverage at the Mas de l'Écriture
For the Mas de l’Écriture, I produced a complete two-day shoot in July: aerial drone views at sunset, vines and terroir, winemaker portraits, barrel cellar and bottles staged at the foot of the old vines.
A single shoot thus provides images for the website, product pages, trade shows and social media, with a consistent visual identity from one channel to the next.
Case study
Seminar and coverage at Mas Palat
During a seminar organised by the agency Green My Voyage at Mas Palat, I photographed both the event and the estate itself: team building workshops, a coaching session on the lawn, a cocktail by the pool, and aerial drone views of the estate among the olive trees and vines.
A single shoot can thus serve the agency for its communication, and the estate to present its venue to seminar organisers.
Method
How a shoot at the estate works
The conversation
We talk about the estate, your wines, your channels and what you want to show first.
Scouting and schedule
I come to scout the site and we schedule the shoots at the right moments: evening light, harvest, work in the cellar.
The shoot
Vines, cellar, portraits, bottles and drone, adapting to the rhythm of the estate, even in the middle of the harvest.
Retouching and delivery
Selection and hand retouching, no AI, then delivery of the images in HD and web versions, ready for all your channels.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
It depends on what you want to show. The harvest and cellar work are photographed in autumn, the vines in leaf in spring and summer, pruning in winter. For the harvest, it is best to talk a few weeks ahead, since the dates change every year.
It is not mandatory, and often not ideal. A first session can cover the estate, the cellar, portraits and bottles, then one or two visits during the year complete it with the harvest or the vines in winter.
Yes, I am a certified A1/A3 drone pilot. Flights depend on the site and the regulations: I check what is allowed before every shoot.
Allow 72 hours to one week depending on the size of the shoot. Photos are delivered retouched, in high definition for print and in web versions.
Based in Gignac, 20 minutes from Montpellier, I work across the Hérault valley, the department and Occitanie, and further afield depending on the project, especially for trade shows.
Every estate is priced on quote, based on the number of shoots, the duration, the use of the drone and the images expected. Tell me about your estate and your needs, and I will make you a suitable proposal.
