Photographer in Gignac and the Hérault valley
Studio in Gignac, 20 min from Montpellier
Based in Gignac, I am a photographer and videographer for businesses in the Hérault valley: wine estates, craftspeople, accommodation, seminar venues, freelancers and liberal professions.
Working close to home makes many things easier: booking a session early in the morning to catch the light on the vines, scouting a location before the day, or moving an outdoor shoot when the weather is not right.
Many of my clients are also in Montpellier, 20 minutes away via the A750.

Professional portraits in Gignac
Portrait
I shoot your portraits in my studio in Gignac, by appointment, or directly at your premises with a mobile studio when a whole team needs to be photographed without disrupting the day.
A session always starts with a conversation abouthow the photos will be used. A portrait for a firm's Team page doesn't call for the same framing or light as an executive photo for the press.
Retouching is done by hand, no AI : I correct what needs correcting, without changing the face. Delivery within 48 hours for an individual portrait, 3 to 5 days for a team.
Opposite, Jeanne Dompnier, an independent administrative assistant based in Gignac, who is one of my partners.
Photographer for wine estates
Wine and wine tourism
Around Gignac, the economy largely revolves around the vines. An estate needs images for many channels at once: website and online shop, product pages, trade shows, press kits, social media, the tasting room.
I photograph the vines and the landscape, the work in the vineyard and the cellar, the bottles and the people who make the estate. The harvest and winter pruning don't show the same estate: it is often more useful tospread the shoots over the year than to do everything in one day.
When the site and the regulations allow it, I add aerial drone views to show the plots and the setting of the estate. I also photograph wine industry booths at trade shows, such as SITEVI in Montpellier.
Case study
Coverage at the Mas de l'Écriture
For the Mas de l’Écriture, I produced a complete two-day shoot in July: aerial drone views at sunset, vines and terroir, winemaker portraits, barrel cellar and bottles staged at the foot of the old vines.
A single shoot thus provides images for the website, product pages, trade shows and social media, with a consistent visual identity from one channel to the next.
Gîtes, accommodation and seminar venues
Tourism and hospitality
Between Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, the Pont du Diable and Lake Salagou, the valley attracts many visitors. On a booking site, the photos do much of the work before the first contact.
I photograph rooms and shared spaces with care for light and volumes, using the flambient technique for clear interiors and accurate colours. Twilight or drone views complete the series to place the venue in its landscape.
For estates that host seminars or receptions, I show the rooms, their layouts and the outdoor areas, for organisers who won't always visit before booking.
Local life
Photographer of Gignac life
I am a member of the association Gignac Pros, which brings together the town's professionals. I cover its events, such as the Christmas market and the 13 July market, as well as the portraits of the board and members.
It is another way of knowing the local fabric: the shopkeepers, craftspeople and businesses that keep Gignac alive, and the places where they work.
Method
How a shoot works
The conversation
On the phone or on site, to understand your business, how the images will be used and where they will be published.
Scouting
For an estate or a venue, I am happy to scout before the shoot, to choose the right time of day.
The shoot
I adapt to the pace of your business: you don't photograph a cellar in the middle of the harvest the way you photograph an office on a Tuesday morning.
Retouching and delivery
Selection and hand retouching, then delivery of the images in the formats you need, for web and print.
